If you watch the PGA Tour players closely they all have their hips and shoulders turned out of the way by impact.

A good pattern to look for when you’re analyzing your swing is to try and see your hips and shoulders turned towards the target around 30-40 degrees. This would be in the PGA Tour range.

If you’re a slicer, you probably turn your upper body more than that range at p7 (impact)..

If you don’t open your turns this much by impact, it will have an effect on the path of the club and a knock on effect of the face to path relationship through the wrist angles breaking down.
